Food and drinks

Something for all ages and times

Whether you've remembered or forgotten your packed lunch, there's room for it all at the Open Air Museum. The Country Kiosk, the Bakehouse, and the Open Air Museum's Restaurant can assist with most things and then some. You can also enjoy your own food at one of our cozy dining areas.

Food and drink at the Open Air Museum

1.

The country kiosk has something for both the small and big appetite

In the middle of the area, you'll find the Country Kiosk. Here you can buy organic sandwiches, quality sausages from the butcher, cakes, old-fashioned candy, ice cream, and both cold and hot beverages. In other words: something for every palate and occasion.

2.

Quality coffee and warm pastries

Would you like to find your way to Peter Gram's Bakery? Just follow the scent of cinnamon and freshly brewed coffee – it will lead you straight to the door. Here, tired parents can recharge with organic barista coffee made from beans from Ønsk, while those with a sweet tooth can indulge in one of our popular cinnamon swirls. The selection changes with the seasons, so there's often something new to look forward to – from warm Shrovetide buns to golden Lucia rolls.

3.

Did you make your own lunch?

You can find several cozy dining areas at the Open Air Museum. Some of them are covered and with good access for wheelchair users.

What would you like?

At the Co-op Distributor, you can buy cake, coffee, and a cherished memory. Here you'll find everything from ice cream and candy to souvenirs and delicious coffee. Behind the counter, the clerk in a brown-orange smock shares stories about what it was like to shop or work at a co-op in the old days.
