A spooky autumn holiday for the whole family
A veil of eerie wonder settles over Frilandsmuseet as we celebrate Halloween during the autumn holidays.
Nordic folklore is filled with dangerous creatures — and during Halloween, you may be unlucky enough to come face to face with some of them. From 11–19 October, children and grown-ups alike can arm themselves with troll crosses, amulets, pumpkin lanterns, silver, and other superstitious charms to keep the dark forces from taking over both town and mind.
One of the creatures you’ll encounter this year is the Åmand — the mysterious spirit of lakes and rivers — brought to life in this year’s Halloween theatre experience.
