A festival for little rascals and cheeky children

Activities for children and families
The festival takes place in The Freddy Frog Face Village. A 1,800 m² outdoor play area designed to spark imagination, community, and creative play.
Here, children can lose themselves in the large maze, explore the rascal trail, climb apple trees, settle into the reading nook, or play in the circus tent. They can also say hello to the pigs, visit Little Virgil’s henhouse, or stop by the blacksmith.

Open-air theatre
Experience classics from the danish author Ole Lund Kirkegaard
Grab a seat in the front row when Freddy Frogface terrorises the other children in town, Otto the Rhinoceros is drawn to life, and we celebrate Carl-Emil’s birthday. Every day you can experience Ole Lund Kirkegaard’s fantastic children’s universe unfold in short plays for young and old alike. See the schedule in the programme.

Circus Benito is coming to town
Experience the circus every day from 3:40 PM to 4:00 PM.
Things are never quiet when Circus Benito comes to town, and in this play it turns into an explosive affair. Join the enchanting, fantastic and strong performers from Circus Benito and see a female sword swallower, the strongest man in the world, invisible dogs and a cannon king.

You should just know
The program is subject to change
Sometimes rascals, the clouds, or little mishaps interfere with the program. So there may be changes when you show up on the day. Just so you know.
Food and drinks for young and old
Popcorn and hot dog stand. Sandwiches and slush-ice.
When it’s time to refuel, there’s something for every appetite — big and small.
At Hjallevad Market, you’ll find a bit of everything, from candy floss to freshly baked waffles. And if you’re feeling a little hungrier, wander over to the food area, where homemade hotdogs are served hot from the grill, straight into your hands.
