The winter holiday is fun and family time at the Open Air Museum.
Let your little rascals loose in the countryside this winter holiday. We’ll light a bonfire, open the candy workshop and roll out ou soapbox cars for racing. There’s room to run wild and raise a ruckus in the fresh air or take part in calmer creative activities like felting with wool from our sheep. Wrap up warm and come enjoy a winter holiday filled with experiences for the whole family.

Note: Barrel hitting only takes place on February 14th and 15th.
Ahoy, pirates and landlubbers! Calling all Pippis and Paw Patrol fans! Come as you are and join us to celebrate the danish tradition of Fastelavn at the Open Air Museum. As tradition goes, you can take a swing at the barrel and you might just be the one to knock it down and be crowned catking og catqueen.

You can find both sweet and savory options for big and small appetites. Visit Bagehuset for pastries and Landkiosken for sausage rolls and sandwiches for the whole family. You can also recharge with coffee and cake at Brugsen.
