On this guided tour you will learn more about the farmers who lived in the museum’s houses and farms – the large tenant farm and the small smallholder’s cottage. See how the farmers slept, ate and toiled in the kitchen, in the fields and everywhere in between. Hear about hard work and big celebrations, about everyday life and the passing of the year for the family and their servants in a time that feels far removed from our own.
